The Armenian UN Association (UNA Armenia), established in January 2005, aims to unite citizens and organizations of the Republic of Armenia around the values, ideas, and principles of the United Nations.
We are dedicated to promoting solidarity, peace culture, active tolerance, conscious citizenship, human rights, and intercultural dialogue. Our mission is to act as a two-way bridge for disseminating UN values, principles, and programs in Armenia, while also promoting Armenian traditions and cultural heritage through UN structures and programs.
On a national level, we work towards the stable development of Armenia, on a regional level, they advocate for peace and stability, and on an international level, strive for the integration of Armenia into the world community.
Our priorities align with the main pillars of the UN, with a particular emphasis on advancing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), promoting human rights and active citizenship, and fostering a culture of peace.
As a member of the World Federation of UN Associations (WFUNA), we actively engage with professional and civil society networks, focusing on issues of high importance. We also hold a position on the board of the CSO Anti-Corruption Coalition in Armenia and the National Platform of Eastern Partnership.
